Healthy Breakfast Bars

You’ve all been waiting for this healthy breakfast bar recipe and you have to wait no longer!! You are going to absolutely love these and the great thing is you can use Rice Krispies in place of the bran flakes! So kind of like a healthy rice krispie treat for your little ones, just without all the butter and marshmallows!! So go ahead give this a go and try it out for yourself!!

Healthy Breakfast Bars:

What you will need:

1/3 cup packed splenda brown sugar

1/3 cup sugar free maple syrup

1 1/2 cups natural organic peanut butter

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

5 cups rasin  bran-flakes cereal

Directions:

1.Line a cookie sheet with foil (non stick, works best) set to the side.

2.In a LARGE sauce pan (large is in all caps cause you have to mix in the 5 cups of cereal) stir together splenda brown sugar and sugar free maple syrup. Bring to a boil.  Stirring  CONSTANTLY.

3.Once it begins to boil, remove from heat and add in peanut butter and cinnamon until smooth.

4.Stir in cereal ( I would go 1 cup at a time so you have less of a mess) Cover and chill for one full day.

5.Cut into squares and put in fridge when not serving *Will keep for 3 days :)

Make sure after you make these and LOVE them to put a comment on here and let me know what you think :)  You can also make me your free coach, just by clicking the link below!!
