Finally I’ve found a healthy way to make banana nut bread and you don’t have to worry about all the extra sugar and other additives you just don’t need!! You are going to love this so much! Just make sure you share it with everyone
What you will need:
1 cup no calorie sweetener ( I use Great Value)
1/2 cup Promise butter softened
2 eggs (room temperature is best)
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup of very ripened banana’s about 1 1/2 medium bananas
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Spray a 9×5 loaf pan with non stick cooking spray and sprinkle with some whole wheat flour
3. Mix together sweetener and promise butter until creamy
4.Add eggs to the sweetener and butter mixture and beat together well
5.Stir the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl and then combine with the butter mixture. Blend together well
6.Add the banana’s, sour cream, and vanilla extract stir well
7.Add nuts and pour into loaf pan
8.Bake 1 hour until tooth pick comes out clean
9. Put on a cooling rack and let cool for 15 minutes and serve
This is so simple and I’m sure the whole family is going to love it! I know it didn’t last long in my house and I get asked to make it all the time now
What a great bread to bring to Thanksgiving dinner or even just to say thank you to a friend for always being there
