About Me

Up until my senior year in high school, I was in decent shape and could eat whatever I wanted and never gain a pound! However, I was just skinny, and never really had muscles or a toned stomach. Then my senior year came and my metabolism slowed down tremendously!

I continued to eat what I wanted and discovered that a lot of it went straight to my butt! This continued on for quite some time, and I ended up gaining about 20 pounds and went from wearing a size zero to a size 6! I became very unhappy with myself, so to make myself happy again I would eat more unhealthy food.

Then I became pregnant. I had cravings galore, and would eat an over abundance of whatever I was craving, like whole pizzas, bags of chips, ice cream, huge bowls of cereal, and of course don’t forget the peanut butter and pickles! I wasn’t aware of the importance of eating healthy at the time, and just because you’re eating for two doesn’t mean you have to eat like you’re eating for five! I ended up paying dearly for it, as I gained about 45lbs!

After I had Madison, I felt so disgusted with myself. I didn’t fit into any of my clothes and felt very unattractive! After my 6 week check-up, when my doctor cleared me to workout, Josh Spencer, my fiancé, introduced me to P90X. Of course I was nervous, and wasn’t sure if I would be able to do it, but he gave me the motivation and support I needed to get started. I had already lost a few pounds before I started the program from eating healthy, and was right around 130lbs.

My first day of P90X was crazy! It was so hard, but it felt so good to know that I was doing this for myself and that in the long run I was going to be in the best shape of my life! I also realized that all the stuff I used to eat was going to have to go in the trash. It was time to clean up my diet! I found that healthy food actually tastes really good, and after I started eating healthy, I started to feel less tired and more energetic because my body was getting the vitamins and nutrients it needed.

I found that each week of P90X was getting a little bit easier. It was still challenging, but I could do more reps and my stamina increased. I didn’t have to pause and take as many breaks as when I first started. My confidence was growing each day and my clothes started fitting looser and looser. After my 90 days, I ended up losing all of my baby weight, and was in the best shape of my life! I ended up losing around 20lbs and 9% body fat!

Since my first round, I have been doing more rounds of P90X, but also mixing in some P90X Plus, and have been using Shakeology as a meal replacement. Today, I weigh 100 pounds can wear a size one! My confidence has drastically increased, and I love how I feel everyday! Because of how successful Josh has been as a coach (he won Top Beachbody Coach 2010 out of over 50,000+ coaches in the U.S.!) and from how many people he has helped, I decided to become a coach myself. Now, I’m a full-time Diamond Beachbody coach and have helped provide financial security for my family along with Josh, doing what I absolutely love doing, and that’s having a positive impact on people’s lives!
